Whole Foods Market

We’re in Austin visiting my sister and her family. Today we went downtown and spent a couple of hours at Whole Foods Market. Good grief, I think I could live there. It’s a veritable treat for the the tast buds. And it smells good too. Tonight we’re grilling all natural ribeye, chomping down on organic corn on the cob and spreading butter on hemp seed bread.

Tomorrow we’re celebrating the 4th by going to Schlitterbahn in New Braunfels. I’ve been there a couple of times years ago. I can’t wait to see Caleb and Elijah’s faces when they see all those water slides. The only thing better than being a kid is getting to be the parent of one.

  1. enjoy it’s mighty nice here right now.

  2. I used to live right beside a Whole Foods in Baltimore, and it spoiled me forever. So wonderful to have organic free-range broccoli humanely harvested by young hippies dressed in robes of white.

  3. Wade, I talked to Jason B. yesterday and it sounds like my ambiguity on your blog has been lost (not that I was trying to preserve it). Anyway, thanks for shepherding Amy and Jason, and for being a pastor they love and respect very much.

I also appreciate your thoughts, and hopefully we can meet at some point. Later.

  4. Traci and I realized last night that 2 of our 3 sons have never even been in the US on July 4th and the one who has was only 3 months old at the time. What kind of Americans are we raising???

They think July 4th is a celebratory day because that is the day that summer camp in Russia starts every year. I just thought that was funny. We need a story teller for next year’s program here at camp. Any suggestions?

So, what are you thinking?
