I read your article on “Everybody lies”. During my earlier years I preached as if “they” needed to straighten up their lives…but not me. Such didn’t occur to me that I might, too, be in the shameful mix.
It took me awhile before I realized I had baeen tagged with a double-portion of the apostle Paul….the chiefest of sinners. Recently I read a good comment by a brother saying he loves the prodigal story until it gets to the “older brother” part. I felt similarly until one day it occurred to me well before the “older brother” came into the scene that I had been summoned. I was also like the “younger brother”.
It’s tough being like both brothers! James 2:10 won’t let me keep up the lie….as hard as I want to try.
