Sounds like Malcolm Gladwell needs to get a life. I think someone has an idol to worship. Seriously, sports are ‘okay’ but nothing to spend all your time on. In the end of things nobody is better off for having wasted so much time and passion on a bunch of rich winey crybabies that can’t fit their overinflated egos through a garagedoorway. College sports aren’t much better. Sports only mattered when I was 14 and still thought I could be good enough to go pro. After the superbowl who’d care about pro-football anyway. Too much has tainted pro-games, they have no appeal anymore.
