Random Declaration #4

Hall & Oates still rock.

Comments

  1. Ah yes, Darryl Hall and his little buddy.

  2. I think you should have to show that picture of yourself from the 80s when you make a statement like that. That would at least give you a chronological excuse.

  3. I’m not sure they ever “rocked”, but I like them.

  4. “Private Eyes” always creeped me out a little.

  5. Let’s define our terms.

  6. Hall and Oats rocked just as hard as Air Supply!

  7. If this post ever makes the “Favorite Posts” list I’m outta here. 😉

  8. Angus Young says:

    Who the hell are they?

  9. “You never close your eyes anymore when I kiss your lips. And there’s no tenderness like before in your fingertips. You’re trying hard not to show it, baby, but baby, baby I know it…”

“You’ve lost that lovin’ feelin’, oh that lovin’ feelin’. You’ve lost that lovin’ feelin’ and it’s gone, gone, gone, oh oh oh”

“Baby, baby, I’d get down on my knees for you. If you would only love me, like you used to do. We had a love, a love, a love you don’t find every day. So don’t, don’t, don’t let it slip away”…

“I said baby, baby, baby, baby, I’m beggin’ you please! I need your love, I need your love, so bring it on back, bring it on back, you’ve got to!!!!!”

Man, I know that was a remake, but Hall and Oates could sing it like nobody’s business. I just wish the guy in the song would give up already. The girl is gone, dude!!! You don’t want her if she’s lost that lovin’ feelin’. Get on with your life and stop whining!

And oh, by the way, that guy’s long flowing blond hair was awesome.

  10. You need to discuss this with Greg Kendall-Ball……he says the Dave Matthews Band are the greatest living musicians. Hmm…..one or both (that’s my vote) of you are wrong.

So, what are you thinking?
